Not all projects include the creation of an entirely new building. With limited space and resources, the practice of utilizing old structures for new facilities has become more prominent than ever. Chicago’s old post office takes up more than 2.5 million square feet in the city, indicating a need for intervention on the abandoned building.

Scientists have found life on one of Jupiter’s ice-covered moons, Europa. Now, the discovery will need a place to be displayed for the public, in reach of Chicago’s residents and visitors.

Water connects all life to each other, constantly ebbing and flowing through bodies and structures. It is no more apparent than in the presence of a bathroom. This bathroom’s design is entirely based on the relationship between the human body and its environment: water.
