Community Spaces

This structure is designed for people to sit and talk with friends or enjoy a meal in the midst of nature. The build is composed of staggering geometric shapes that allow for both a sense of connection and slight privacy without the awkwardness of sharing a park bench with a stranger. The curved seating and tables indirectly connect those that inhabit the space with each other. The bright colors are reminiscent of childhood playgrounds, which had connected children through the act of mutual participation on the play structures. This seating area does much the same by indirectly having people interact with their community.
